Ursa Major Events is Jimmy and Sandy Gabany.

Jimmy has been producing B2B events since 2013. He started at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, managing multimillion-dollar productions for Fortune 500 clients, where he learned what it actually takes to run a high-stakes event without a visible failure. Before that, he served as a U.S. Army combat engineer. That standard has followed him into every room since. He holds an MBA and brings 12 years of international event production across the United States, Spain, Greece, Dubai, Canada, and Panama.

Sandy holds an MFA and has spent more than 30 years in publishing as an editor, author, and university professor. She has worked with some of the most respected publishers in the world and mentored hundreds of writers. What she brings to events is exactly what you'd expect from someone who has spent three decades making complex creative work come together: a sharp eye, a calm presence, and the ability to connect with anyone in the room.

Together, they lead a small, focused operation built around relationships. With clients, with venues, with every vendor on site. That's not a value statement. It's how the work actually gets done well.
