Ursa Major Events is Jimmy and Sandy Gabany.

Jimmy has been producing B2B events since 2013. He started at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, running productions for Fortune 500 clients on the kind of stage where a visible failure is not an option. That is where the standard was set. Before that, he served as a U.S. Army combat engineer, and that standard has followed him into every room since. He holds an MBA and has produced events across the United States, Spain, Greece, Dubai, Canada, and Panama.

Sandy holds an MFA and has spent more than 30 years in publishing as an editor, author, and university professor. She has worked with some of the most respected publishers in the world and mentored hundreds of writers. What she brings to events is exactly what you'd expect from someone who has spent three decades making complex creative work come together: a sharp eye, a calm presence, and the ability to connect with anyone in the room.

Together, they lead a small, focused operation built around relationships. With clients, with venues, with every vendor on site. That's not a value statement. It's how the work actually gets done well.
